It is difficult to detach I from existence, but to experiment, I will try to speak in the third person. It is important because only by doing that one may truly talk about themselves.

Anant is a human, a friend, a brother, and a son who enjoys the company of his thoughts. At present, he is earning PhD at NEMO, Indian Institute of Technology Madras, India, where he works on intelligent wireless power transfer systems, inverse design of metasurfaces, and computational electromagnetics with Prof. Uday Khankhoje.

He likes to talk about science, AI, human relations, philosophy, music, and writing, among many other things. He appreciates minimalism doped with traditional design. He spends most of his time building things: you think, you build!

He adores elephants, cats, and dogs, and is surprised that the more knowledge the human race gains, the more it exploits other species, and ultimately itself.

He believes the best way to break ice with someone is to talk about good food or travel ideas after you are done with the regular ‘hello/hi’ and ‘what do you do?’ stuff. He likes raw people, and lives by a philosophy from Lao Tzu: Seek not, find!

He constantly searched for happiness for about twenty years until he learned there is no such thing as happiness, existence is misery, less or more; you choose the path of less misery to be so-called happy.

उसे हाथी, बिल्लियाँ और कुत्ते बहुत प्यारे हैं, और उसे हैरानी होती है कि इंसान जितना ज़्यादा ज्ञान हासिल करता है, उतना ही दूसरी प्रजातियों का शोषण करता है, और आख़िर में ख़ुद का भी।

उसका मानना है कि किसी से बात आगे बढ़ाने का सबसे अच्छा तरीक़ा है, रोज़ वाले ‘हेलो/हाय’ और ‘आप क्या करते हो?’ के बाद अच्छे खाने या घूमने के आइडियाज़ की बात करना। उसे बिना बनावट वाले, असली लोग पसंद हैं, और वो लाओ त्ज़ु की एक सीख पर चलता है: ढूँढो मत, पा लो!

क़रीब बीस साल तक वो लगातार ख़ुशी ढूँढता रहा, जब तक उसे ये समझ नहीं आया कि ख़ुशी जैसी कोई चीज़ होती ही नहीं, अस्तित्व ही दुख है, कम या ज़्यादा; तथाकथित ख़ुश रहने के लिए आप कम दुख वाला रास्ता चुनते हो।
